Universal Steel Buildings Supplies Pre-Fabricated Building to Rice Manufacturing

Universal Steel Buildings declared that it has sold its ready to use type of pre-fabricated Olympia Steel Buildings metal building system to Baldwin City, Kansas-based Rice Precision Manufacturing.

The pre-engineered system will be utilized by Rice Precision to build its latest 12150 ft² production facility. The construction of the new facility is expected commence in September this year.

Rice Manufacturing utilizes Mazak Mazatrol CNC machines for machining the parts needed for industrial usage and it is planning to erect its machines in the proposed new high-tech production facility. The company is planning to perform machining activities such as tool & die, mold, building, machining, MIG & TIG welding, precision fabricating, heat-treating, honing, grinding, CNC turning and CNC milling from the proposed facility. The company anticipates improving its present business and achieving rapid progress by adding new pre-engineered metal construction to its present facility.

According to Mark Creighton, who works as senior pre-engineered steel building consultant, at the Universal Steel Buildings’ new office at Olathe, Kansas, the turnkey package was engineered to meet the present requirement of Rice Manufacturing and it can be expanded to meet the future production demands of the client.

Universal Steel Buildings is in the business of pre-fabricated steel buildings for more than 40 years and it supplies Olympia Steel Buildings to military and civilian agencies, government organizations, residential units, agriculture, industrial, and commercial segments. The buildings are offered with all weather enduring PBR roof or Zeus-Shield, a patented standing seam metal roofing facility.
