Grace Construction Products Acquires De Neef Conchem Group

Grace Construction Products, a functional division of W.R.Grace, declared that it has taken over the De Neef Conchem Group, a privately possessed cluster of companies engaged in the development of waterproofing products needed for the building industry. Financial details of the deal were not divulged.

De Neef Conchem, a Belgium headquartered company, manufactures preventive and restorative waterproofing and concrete safeguarding and repairing products. The company utilizes its production facilities in the United States, Spain and Belgium to manufacture the products and sell them all over the world. The company has more than 100 employees and has been in the business for over 30 years.

Grace Construction Products has made this acquisition as a part of its continuing growth strategy of taking over construction business companies that are placed in high margin segments. The company also opens new production facilities in upcoming regions and enters into partnership with those companies that can speed up the growth of the Grace Brand in un-entered new markets.

According to Andrew Bonham, Grace Construction Products’ President the product line of De Neef Conchem will enhance the structural waterproofing and building envelope line of products of the company by adding a range of novel technologies. He added that the acquisition will assist the company to add value to the client’s requirements.
