EcoBlu Products Expands Production Capabilities

EcoBlu Products, a manufacturer of in house wood products cured with ECOB Wood Surface Film and FRC technology, has introduced a green eco-friendly proprietary chemistry that shields against fungus wood ingesting insects fire, mold/mycotoxins, rot-decay and termites.

"Red Shield," a EcoBlu product, utilizes the patent pending technology, is the end in wood protection, preservation, and fire safety to building components fabricated out of wood; from joists, beams and paneling, to floors and ceilings.

EcoBlu Products has established a new wholly-owned subsidiary, E Build & Truss in Oceanside, California. The entity is equipped with complete production capabilities and enables EcoBlu Products to deliver a full range of products and services to builders in Southern California. The products and services include Red Shield lumber, roof truss and labor packages.

The additional capabilities will help the company to address market demands by allowing the production of roof trusses protected with Red Shield coating. Red Shield’s fire inhibiting characteristics add greater value to roof trusses installed in any building.

Homeland Security and Underwriters Laboratories’ studies have shown that modern roofs with untreated lumber roof trusses last for 13 minutes and 6 seconds before collapsing. EcoBlu Products expects that the addition of Red Shield coating may extend the time before the structure collapses.

EcoBlu Products’ President and CEO, Steve Conboy stated that the company will continue to invest in its production capabilities to enhance its products’ potential.
