Sunroc Building Materials and Geneva Rock Join for Extreme Makeover Home Project

Sunroc Building Materials and Geneva Rock will join together to construct a home for a South Jordan family within a week.

The project is a part of the reality program “Extreme Makeover- Home Edition”. For the purpose of completing the project within the limited time of one week, both companies have donated supplies worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and pooled the resources of their vendors and partners.

The materials donated for the project include hold-downs, rebar and anchor bolts, insulation material, lumber and other finished products which include windows, trim, interior doors and exterior doors. Geneva Rock, a fully owned auxiliary of Clyde will gift all the concrete of over 300 cubic yards required for the project.

Over and above the supply of materials needed for the construction Sunroc along with its subcontractors will provide the required labor to complete the framing work required for the project within a period of 12 hours. The team of laborers will work all through the day and night to complete the project in a week’s time.

According to Diane Korman, Extreme Makeover’s senior producer, the construction project will remain incomplete but for the efforts of companies such as Geneva Rock and Sunroc.
