SlabTek has announced the availability of its suspended reinforced concrete slabs in Austin, Texas.
Structurally Suspended Slab NT is installed as a Slab-on-Grade.
The SlabTek concrete slabs are different, unlike normal suspended reinforced concrete slabs, they utilize an exclusive technique where the flat slab is poured on top of the ground and then it is raised to the needed level of height above the ground, thus keeping the foundation insulated from the future soil movement .
The SlabTek technology comes handy and works cost- effectively when constructing suspended slabs over large areas of land. According to Fred Marshall, Advanced Foundation Repair’s Owner, the new SlabTek technology drastically cuts down the need for foundation repairs in a building in the future. He explained that while the new technology provides cheap and effective way to construct suspended slab it also brings down the other expenditures such as watering the foundation for maintenance and warranty expenditure for the builders.
Advanced Foundation Repair is presently working along with Pacesetter Homes in one of their latest communities. Pacesetter has chosen SlabTek for their newest Bell Farms community located in Manor, Texas, in order to eliminate the soil caused foundation movements by keeping the foundations in a suspended level off the ground.
