The Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers has declared the conclusion of its phase one renovation program completed at a cost of $150 million.
During the renovation process, the hotel has enlarged the sizes of its 1,080 visitor rooms and suites, remodeled its Sheraton Club Lounge and includes the latest Cisco TelePresence Suite. Wilson Associates who completed the first phase of the renovation will commence the second phase in December 2011 and is anticipated to complete it by April 2012. During the second phase, the hotel is planning to remodel its other visitor rooms.
The renovated guestrooms in the hotel present a larger look and complete with lavish colors, graphic designs and clean lines depicting the new brand design of the hotel. The rooms in addition to remodeled furniture and luggage storage features also have flat panel wall mounted televisions, wall built mini bar units, remodeled bath rooms with walk-in showers and convenient power outlets with decorative lighting. The HVAC systems installed in the rooms allow the guests to manage the thermostat to meet their personal heat or cool requirements. In addition to Chaise lounge chairs that can be converted into bed, the rooms are provided with latest wired or wireless internet facilities and radio frequency recognition locks.
The completed renovated fitness center at the hotel provides fitness training that can be compared to professional athletes training. The lounge located at the 44th floor of the building includes modern design features and provides facilities such as 24/7 guest access with an Espresso and coffee station, Televisions, integrated business center featuring computers and a printer and free breakfast for the visitors and appetizers during the evening hours.
he new high-tech Cisco TelePresence Suite, in the hotel offers video conferencing facility with quality audio and video relay and a fully secured network connections to enable global communication facility.
