The Calgary Marriott in Calgary, Alberta, downtown has chosen Mark G. Anderson Consultants (MGAC), a project management company, to provide the required renovation management services to the hotel.

MGAC will complete the project in stages for the 23-storeyed hotel with 374 rooms without disturbing its day-to-day activities. During the renovation period the hotel will continue to have fully occupancy and offer continuous services to its clients.
In the renovation process MGAC will perform the role of Owner's Representative and Program Manager and provide supervision, quality maintenance, financial planning and construction schedule management services. In the last five years the company has handled over thirty hotel projects valued around $400m. It reconstructed more than 5,000 rooms for brand names such as Delta, Hyatt, Sheraton, W, Ritz Carlton, Westin, Hilton and Marriot.
The company has provided Owner's Representative and Program Manager Services to a range of national and international customers all over the USA and countries such as the UK, Caribbean, Canada, Asia, South America and EU.
