Hancock Concrete Products, a Hancock, Minnesota headquartered company and a producer of box culverts, retaining walls, concrete pipes and manhole structures, declared that it has purchased Hanson Pipe & Precast plant located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Hanson Pipe & Precast has been manufacturing concrete products from its plant located in Sioux Falls to meet the requirements of its clients in the Midwest. Hancock Concrete is looking forward to exploit the robust local economy at the Sioux Falls to improve its business prospects.
According to Rob Schmidgall, Hancock Concrete’s President, the acquirement is in line with the long term vision and growth strategy of the company. He added that the acquisition will help Hancock to make up for its production loss incurred at its Lake View, Iowa, production facility due to fire.
