Construction of Stoney Warehouse 4 building owned by Stoney Industrial Center has begun lately.
The building is being constructed by WAM Development, a North American commercial real estate development company in association with Alberta Investment Management (AIMCo), an institution investments managing company from Canada.
The new construction in addition to incorporating efficient mechanical systems to allow maximum loading capabilities to the building to meet the market demand will also have energy efficient features to receive LEED certification.
Stoney Warehouse 4, the fourth construction of the planned six buildings when completed will bring up the total construction area of the center to more than 1.5 million square feet. The construction anticipated to get completed in the fourth quarter of this year will have a distribution facility in 436,000 square foot area. The building will have 32 feet headway, increased level of floor capacity in each floor. The design of the building will be equipped with the most modern handling facilities to handle large volumes both at the forwarding and receiving levels and will include a considerable level of on-site trailer storage facilities.
