Technip, a project management, engineering and construction Company meeting the needs of the energy industry, has signed a contract with Hibernia Management and Development (HMDC) to provide engineering, procurement and construction services for the Hibernia Southern Extension project.
The project is a division of the present Hibernia field development, which is placed over the Grand Banks and located around 315 kilometers away from the shore of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada in water depths measuring around 90 meters. The contract will require Technip to provide its services for installing a flexible flowline and a steel tube umbilical along with the erection of the required sub-sea equipment.
The contract will be executed by the operating center of Technip located in St. John’s, Canada.
