Mission Constructors to Build Sugar Land Surgical Hospital in Texas

Mission Constructors, a Houston-based company that provides value engineering construction management and construction services in Texas, declared that it has been chosen by Sugar Land Physician Partners to construct a new hospital in Texas.

The Sugar Land Surgical Hospital will have a buildup area of around 42,022 square foot and it will be located in Sugar Land, Texas. The ground breaking ceremony of the hospital was held in May 2011.

The proposed hospital will have four rooms for surgery, six rooms for patients and two procedure rooms. A 30,000 square foot, two storied medical office building is expected to be built next to the hospital in the future. The hospital will meet the health requirements of the people located in Sugar Land. The construction of the hospital is anticipated to commence shortly and is expected to be opened in late 2012.

The project team includes a number of companies. Browne McGregor Architects will provide architectural services, Costello will provide engineering services, Haynes Whaley Associates will offer structural engineering services, Rolf Jensen & Associates will supply the necessary fire protection and life safety equipment, Worrell Design Group will offer food services and Wong & Associates will offer landscaping services.
