Balfour Beatty, an infrastructure company, declared that it has signed a Public Private Partnership (PPP) financial deal valued around £203 million with Cambridgeshire County Council.
The 25-year accord will require Balfour Beatty to design and erect 6,000 signs and bollards and 50,000 street lights throughout the capital investment period of five years and it will continue to provide maintaining services for both new and existing equipment. The company is planning to invest around £5 million.
The present PPP accord is the fifth contract for Balfour Beatty. The company’s projects at Derby, Sunderland, Coventry and South Tyneside are continuing effectively.
