China Advanced Construction Materials to Supply Ready-Mix Concrete for High-Speed Rail Projects

China Advanced Construction Materials Group (China ACM), a supplier of ready-mix concrete (RMC) and the associated technical services , has declared the receipt of two high-speed rail (HSR) accords valued around $3.9 million from CCCC Tunnel Engineering.

The contract requires China ACM to supply its RMC production and associated engineering services for the Jiangxi Province located Hukun Passenger Dedicated Line. The first contract, valued at around $2.3 million, is for Yujiang (#3 and #4); Section 3, Jiangxi, Division 2, located in Jiangxi province and will need around 330,000 cubic meters of China ACM premium RMC. The second contract has been signed for the construction of Dongxiang (#5); Section 3, Jiangxi, Division3, line also situated in Jiangxi province estimated at around $1.6 million and will need around 200,000 cubic meters of China ACM premium RMC.

Altogether China ACM will supply around 530,000 cubic meters of ready-mix concrete for the contract estimated at $3.9 million. The projects are anticipated to get completed during the second quarter of 2012 fiscal year.

According to Chief Executive Officer and China ACM Chairman, Mr. Xianfu Han, the premium RMC supplied by the company will be used in challenging industrial and commercial applications such as HSR. The product utilizes recycled ingredients to cut down the carbon dioxide discharges and to comply with strict ecological regulations.
