EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Systems to Provide Retrofit Services to Westfield San Francisco Centre

EMCOR Group declared that its subsidiary company, EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Systems has been chosen to complete an energy retrofit project in San Francisco, California. The project will be completed at the Westfield San Francisco Centre a top-end shopping hub in the city.

The scope of work in the retrofit project will include substituting the central HVAC cooling systems installed in the building with conventionally designed efficient air conditioning equipment as well as erection of a latest building automation facility. EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Systems will formulate and build the energy systems required for the retrofit project and complete the installation at the 1.5 million square foot Westfield shopping center.

According to EMCOR Services Mesa Energy Systems President Robert Lake, the custom designed equipments and latest control systems planned for the building along with a proper maintenance plan will support the comfort and energy performance of the building for a number of years. He added that while the implementation of the project will allow the client to save substantially on utility spending, they also have been guaranteed a rebate assurance from the home utility company because of this energy retrofit installation.
