EcoBlu Products Signs Accord with EcoPrime to Provide Lumber Coating Services

EcoBlu Products, a producer of patented wood products that utilizes FRC technology and WoodSurfaceFilm to endure mold/mycotoxins, fire, fungus, rot-decay, termites and other wood consuming insects, declared that it has completed an affiliate, purchase, distribution & services accord with EcoPrime. Formerly known as Bluwood South, EcoPrime is a Georgia-based wood coatings applicator company.

The signed accord will enable EcoPrime to manufacture the patented ECOB Red Shield Protected Lumber products in its production facility located in Augusta with the rights to deal out the products into the market. The decision taken by EcoPrime to sign an improved technology not only provides protection against Termite, wood rot, mold and fire but also enables the company to supply ECOB products at a cost- effective pricing.

The accord will facilitate ECOB to utilize the strategically located Augusta, Georgia facility of EcoPrime to distribute its patent-awaiting WoodSurfaceFilm treatment products in the humid southern markets. Also, the facility will offer ECOB another location to perform its coating services. Its easy access to ports in the southern region will enable the company to distribute its products to Haiti and Africa lumber enterprise and to support its charitable efforts.

According to Steve Conboy, EcoBlu Products’ President and CEO, the facility at Augusta forms an integral part in the growth of the company to supply lumber coating services to places where mold protection is needed most. He also added that the association with EcoPrime will enable the company to utilize the prime location to treat its lumber products in places such as Haiti and Dominican Republic.
