EMCOR Government Services Secures Service Contract Extension from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory

EMCOR Group declared that its auxiliary company, EMCOR Government Services, has been given a service contract extension for a period of three years by the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

EMCOR Government Services (EGS) is providing facility operations and maintenance support for the Pasadena, California, located NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since October 2008 and the current extension will allow the company to continue its services up to September 2014.

The wide range of services being provided by EMCOR Government Services (EGS) includes offering of maintenance support to the Space Flight Operations Facility, HVAC operations and maintenance services, analytical services, which includes thermography and vibration diagnostics, ground maintenance, custodial services, maintenance of cranes and elevators and repair services to key equipment. The company will also offer services to conserve water and energy and provide disaster response services.

According to Michael Shelton, EMCOR Government Services Company’s President and CEO, the extension of contract shows the recognition of the rendered company’s services by the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and it amply demonstrates the capability of the company in providing intricate and all inclusive type of services to its clients.
