Skanska Norway, a company focused on construction and civil engineering operations, declared that it has entered into a contract with Lufthavn, Oslo, an auxiliary company of Avinor, which owns the Oslo Gardermoen Airport.
The contracted project requires Skanska to construct new taxiways, extension of the existing taxiways, which includes asphalting and expanding the existing infrastructure at the Gardermoen Airport, Oslo. The new construction also calls for the building of extensive drainage systems, and construction of concrete tanks for gathering waste water.
The contract, valued around NOK 690 M, or SEK 780 M, is expected to commence in April this year and is anticipated to get completed by October 2013.
