PPG Industries, a coatings and specialty products company, has declared the launching of its Up North Color Collection, a range of 25 colors that symbolizes the important color shades of the Up North Region.
The palette fashioned by the neighborhood interior designers and owners of the paint store catches the tranquil splendor and individuality of the area thus permitting the house-owners to add most preferred landscapes within their own homes for enjoyment.
According to some of the members of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the surroundings of the local region have prompted the production of the palette. It further explained that the Beach Glass colors inspired soft green color, the smoothed glass found over the sandy shore lines inspired the pale yellow and fresh blue colors and the muted brown is an inspiration from Morel Mushrooms. The organic palette depicting the nonchalant and tranquil lifestyle of the region also has soft and rich colors such as Land of Delight, Farmer’s Market Red a flamboyant pure shade and a watercolor blue.
The range also includes trendy shades varied with the persuasion of the regional water and the natural components and landscapes suggested by ASID. The Up North Palette is a division of the Voice of Color Program of PPG Pittsburgh Paints and it is available at Traverse City located Petoskey and Northwood Paint and Supply and at Complete Paint and Supplies in Harbor Springs.
