With the acquisition of PrecisionCraft Log and Timber Homes, PFB has created a new operating subsidiary which now includes Riverbend Timber Framing, located in Blissfield, Michigan, and Insulspan Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) located in both Blissfield and Vancouver, BC.
This new group will be headquartered at the PrecisionCraft facility in Meridian, Idaho with former PrecisionCraft President, Jim B. Young, acting as Chief Operating Officer.
"Although we are combining two wood home industry leaders under the same umbrella, we plan to continue to grow each brand in its own right," says new COO Jim Young. "Those individuals who prefer a more traditional, intricate timber home style can still select to build a signature Riverbend timber home, while those who prefer a more mountain-style log or timber home can choose to work with PrecisionCraft."
While headquartered in Meridian, the facilities in Vancouver and Blissfield will continue to operate and provide end-customers with quality SIPs and Timber Frame Homes. By combining these three companies within one group, that group can focus on supplying the United States, Canada and the International community with a wide variety of high-quality, energy-efficient custom log and timber homes.
Young and his team are excited about the opportunities that await all three companies in the next few years. "We see a lot of potential for growth both individually and by combining our strengths," says Young. "We will be in a unique position to provide our clients with the most thorough and complete Total Home Solution®."
