Dynamic Solar, LLC, a fully integrated solar firm, has recently completed and commissioned a 300kW rooftop project in New Jersey and broken ground on a 792kW ground-mounted system in Stevens, PA.
The New Jersey rooftop installation spanned four different Clayton's Self Storage locations in Atlantic City, Mays Landing, Egg Harbor Township and Galloway, NJ. The project involved complex regulatory filings including the configuration of ten different electrical accounts with Atlantic City Electric. Dynamic Solar will provide the management of each site's solar renewable energy credits.
"After being approached by many firms, we were impressed with Dynamic Solar's professionalism and competitive value. Dynamic provided great advice on financial returns, delivered detailed technical information and equipment options, and had expert installation teams complete our projects on budget. We are thrilled with our systems that are offsetting nearly all of our facilities' electricity needs," said Paul Casaccio and Ralph Clayton of Clayton's Self Storage.
The 792kW ground array is being constructed for John F. Martin & Sons, Inc. Dynamic Solar has teamed with FX Bonnes Associates, Inc. and Brickhouse Environmental to engineer this substantial land development project. When completed in May 2011, this will be one of the largest ground-based solar systems in the state of Pennsylvania.
According to EPA calculators, this 1.1 megawatts of solar will equate to removing approximately 25,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide from the environment and 5,000 cars from our highways over the 25 year system lifetimes.
