Amvic Building System to Demonstrate Insulated Concrete Forms in Buffalo

Area builders and architects will get a close-up look at a construction technology that dramatically reduces energy costs, improves indoor air quality, ensures maximum fire safety AND is more environmentally-friendly than conventional building techniques.

The Buffalo/WNY Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the New York Upstate Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council have invited Canadian firm Amvic Building System to demonstrate its insulated concrete forms (ICFs) which are being recognized as a superior alternative to traditional masonry block, especially given Buffalo's extreme weather conditions.

Amvic and a number of other green building technologies will be showcased at the event, and the media are invited to attend:
