BASF, the Chemical Company, showcased its latest construction technology innovations from the Construction Chemicals Division at booth S-10115 during the World of Concrete show, Jan., 18 -21, 2011 in Las Vegas.
Highlights included:
- MasterFiber™ MAC Matrix fiber is uniquely engineered to be a “best in class” synthetic polymeric fiber for use in the most stringent of secondary reinforcement applications - whether for slab-on-ground or shotcrete applications.
- ZERO-C™ Repair Mortar is a line of cementitious repair mortars that exhibit no cracking when tested in accordance with ASTM C 1581. ZERO-C is the first material of its kind, creating a new generation of concrete repair.
- ENERSHIELD™ Air Barriers provide new options for creating high performance air/water-resistive barrier systems. ENERSHIELD allows for one air barrier material for all substrates behind any wall claddings.
- EMACO® CP Intact Galvanic Anodes protect concrete repairs from within. Made with superior zinc alloy, they provide fast and easy installation, safe handling, and zero VOC.
In addition to these new technologies, BASF featured expansion joints, concrete admixtures, restoration and repair products, wall systems and performance flooring solutions for Commercial, Residential, Bridge and Highway, and Parking and Stadium applications.
