USACE Sacramento District Awards Engineering Services Contract to Baker-AECOM JV

Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE Amex: BKR), along with joint-venture partner AECOM, has been awarded a five-year, up to $30 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) architectural and engineering services contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sacramento District.

The Baker-AECOM JV will provide master planning and related geographic information system services for various federal, state, local and municipal agencies worldwide. The terms of the IDIQ contract include one base year with a value of up to $6 million, and four option years, each with a value of up to $6 million.

Baker’s David M. Martin, P.E., senior vice president and Facilities Service Area manager, said, “We are extremely pleased to have been selected by the Sacramento District and look forward to strengthening our relationship with them. We are also fortunate to continue our JV relationship with AECOM on this contract. The team has proven capabilities for this work and we are poised to begin.”
