Verengo Solar Plus, the largest residential solar installation company in Southern California, today announced that it has expanded its operations into Kern County.
Verengo will provide Bakersfield residents with financing, design, and installation services for their homes from a single source.
"Bakersfield is one of the sunniest cities in the U.S. and its residents have long been saddled among the state's highest utility bills," said Verengo Solar Plus President Ken Button. "Building on our recent record of success in surrounding counties, we are pleased to now be able to offer residents a way to reduce those electricity bills from day one."
"Innovation has made solar more efficient and easier to install," said Verengo Solar Plus CEO Randy Bishop, "and consequently prices have come down tremendously over the last two years. From zero down leases to traditional purchases, we have options that work for everyone. Verengo home solar power will give the Bakersfield homeowner control over rising costs while saving thousands of dollars over the life of the system."
"The growth potential of renewable residential energy in Bakersfield is as great as any city in the state, and Verengo Solar is looking forward to the opportunity to help develop that potential and stimulate job-growth in the county," said Area Sales Manager Mike Terry.
