Jacobs Engineering Receives $125.3 Million Worth Highway Project in Minnesota

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was selected to provide engineering services for the Trunk Highway (TH) 169/Interstate 494 Interchange under a design-build contract from the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Officials estimate the contract value at $125.3 million.

Jacobs is the design lead for the design-build team, which is led by the joint venture of C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. and Edward Kraemer & Sons, Inc. The project is expected to improve capacity, congestion and traffic operation at the vital Hennepin County intersection.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Kevin McMahon stated, "We are excited about working with our construction partners and the Minnesota Department of Transportation to help them improve traffic flow for residents, businesses and the travelling public."
