Dessau Inc., one of Canada's largest engineering-construction firms, has just announced the acquisition of two Ontario firms: Atkinson, Davies Inc., a London firm that works in geotechnical and environmental engineering, and Premier/Levaque, a Milton-based company that specializes in roofing and building envelope consulting services.
"We are very pleased to further our growth in Ontario. The acquisition of these two companies strengthens our presence in the province, and their expertise enhances our service offering. Dessau expects to continue in this direction in the new year with acquisitions elsewhere in Canada and abroad," states Mr. Jean-Pierre Sauriol, President and Chief Executive Officer at Dessau.
Dessau Acquires Ontario-based Premier/Levaque
With 30 employees, the firms will become part of LVM, Dessau's largest subsidiary, which employs over 1,300 people and provides geotechnical, materials and environmental engineering services. In Ontario, Dessau and LVM have a combined total of more than 200 employees working in nine locations.
