bpENNOVATIONS, an innovator of new pioneering building products which address past construction challenges, is in the final stages of development on a new and revolutionary retrofit attic ventilation system.
This exciting new product has been developed to meet the demand for energy efficient solutions being generated by the growing “energy remodeling” market.
The Aerix™ Retrofit Attic Ventilation System was recently introduced by bpEnnovations, and its distribution partner Parksite, to an exclusive advisory board made up of established architects and builders to great applause.
Kirk Moore, CEO of bpEnnovations, said that his company is excited about the potential of the Aerix Retrofit Attic Ventilation product and the positive feedback they received after the presentation. “Over the past year as we have been bringing our Aerix Roof Ventilation System to market for new construction, we’ve received tons of inquiries regarding a retrofit version. Ironically it has always been in development, and we are now on the verge of bringing to market a retrofit product that we believe will revolutionize the way existing structures ventilate attics and protect insulation.”
Just like the Aerix “new construction” product, the Aerix Retrofit Attic Ventilation System provides a wind block and vent channel that protects the insulation from the effects of windwashing and allows proper ventilation of the attic. Unlike existing marketplace products which are virtually impossible to install based on eave locations being difficult to reach, the Aerix Retrofit Attic Ventilation System presents a simple installation process that will save time and installation costs, as well as ultimate energy savings for homeowners.
Scott Thomas, Director of Marketing for Parksite adds “Our Advisory Board is made up of established building and architecture professionals who we rely on for feedback on new products that we plan on bringing to market. The response to the recently presented Aerix Retrofit Attic Ventilation system was overwhelmingly positive, with all in attendance recognizing the need for such a product and acknowledging that this system will work more efficiently than any previous attempt at a retrofit solution.”
bpEnnovations and Parksite are planning to officially launch the Aerix Retrofit Attic Ventilation system in the first quarter of 2011.
