Case Design/Remodeling, Inc., a leading D.C. Metro area home improvement company, today announced that George Weissgerber, Senior Vice President and Director of Research and Development, has been named a Master Certified Remodeler (MCR) by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
Weissgerber has been with Case since 1985, and possesses years of experience in carpentry, project management and corporate estimating.
A NARI Certified Remodeler (CR) and Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler (CKBR), Weissgerber received the MCR honor based on his commitment to the home remodeling industry and his involvement with the NARI Metro DC Chapter. Originally a carpenter for Case, Weissgerber became a project manager and played an integral role the company’s launch of its Handyman Division in the early 1990s. Weissgerber was also at the forefront of the development of the Case Job Estimating System (CJES), Case’s proprietary estimating system that allows for consistent pricing. He currently oversees Case’s corporate estimating and pursues new business opportunities. Weissgerber received a degree in fine arts from West Virginia University.
“It is a great honor to receive NARI’s Master Certified Remodeler designation,” Weissgerber said. “Working for Case has been an excellent opportunity that has not only allowed me to help provide clients with innovative, high-quality home designs, but also assist in growing Case into a top remodeling company.”
Bruce Case, president of Case Design/Remodeling, said, “George has been a central part of Case’s expansion during the past 25 years. He is an exceptional business leader, and we are proud to have him on our team.”
NARI’s MCR program recognizes Certified Remodelers that have withstood the test of time, continue to be successful within the remodeling industry, and have agreed to uphold the NARI Code of Ethics and Standards of Business. NARI is the only trade association dedicated exclusively to the remodeling industry and emphasizes high standards of honesty, integrity and responsibility in conducting business.
