Penn State Selects Bohlin Cywinski Jackson for Henderson Phase Two Project

Penn State's Board of Trustees today (Nov. 5) announced approval of architects for final plans for Phase Two of the Henderson Project at University Park, which includes renovations and additions to the Henderson South Building.

The architects, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson of Wilkes-Barre, will complete the final design for Phase Two of this two-phase project. The trustees approved this same firm of architects in 2008 for work on the first phase, which involves demolishing the existing bridge linking Henderson and Henderson South and construction of the new Biobehaviorial Health Building.

The second phase involves the demolition of portions of Henderson South and the construction of an addition that will face East College Avenue. Academic research and support spaces and faculty and administrative spaces are expected to be housed there.
