Jacobs to Provide Construction Services for HCA’s Multi-Disciplinary Framework Panel

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was awarded a four-year contract from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) for a multi-disciplinary framework panel.

The HCA is the national housing and regeneration agency for England. Its role is to create thriving communities and affordable homes.

Officials did not disclose the contract value, however indicated that in the past two and a half years over 100 million pounds of work has been procured by the HCA and its partners through the multi-disciplinary and related panels.

The HCA maintains a number of panels to deliver its regeneration and development programs. At present, over 180 partner organizations procure through the HCA's panels. The panels cover a wide range of services including property, project cost and management, master-planning, engineering, planning architecture, housing delivery and transport together with a range of niche specialist panels such as archaeology, heritage and surveying. The multi-disciplinary panel provides access to a range of technical services as a 'one stop shop' and make it "quicker and more cost effective for publicly funded organizations to procure technical services".

In making the announcement, Group Vice President Bob Duff stated, "Jacobs is proud to work with the HCA and support their efforts to improve communities in England."
