Unistrut Construction Now Authorized to Design and Install Uniline’s Fall Arrest Systems

Unistrut® International Corporation, an industry leader in the design and installation of pre-engineered metal framing and support systems, is now authorized to design, install and certify Uniline fall arrest products throughout North America.

"We're excited to announce that Uniline Safety Systems' broad line of cost effective, engineered fall arrest systems, will be backed by Unistrut resources," said Kevin Duda, North American fall protection product manager for Unistrut.

Falls are the third leading cause of death in the work place, and Unistrut Construction is uniquely positioned to help building owners, managers, architects and contractors greatly reduce or eliminate the risk of falling on the job.  Each of Unistrut Construction's 15 offices throughout the U.S. and Canada are staffed with construction and engineering experts to design the safest and most economical fall protection solution for even the most difficult of applications.  Unistrut is one of the only nationally recognized installers in the U.S. and Canada.

"We wanted a partner with the ability to design, engineer and install our product in-house, as opposed to subcontracting the work," said Todd Sharp, business development manager for Uniline. "Unistrut has that ability."

The Unistrut staff is fully trained in all aspects of Uniline engineered horizontal and vertical arrest systems for commercial, industrial and institutional structures.

"Harnesses, lanyards, carabiners and self-retracting lifelines are used on a daily basis," said Duda. "Inspection is the key to the overall safety of the people that use the systems and equipment."  Unistrut provides ongoing support with professional OSHA and ANSI inspections on all brands of fall protection systems.
