W. L. Butler Construction, Inc. recently announced the opening of a new office in San Diego to create strategic alliances and build new relationships for the firm.
This is the fifth office for the general contractor, with other locations in Redwood City, Stockton, Irvine and Palm Desert employing over 150 full-time team members.
Throughout its 35-year history, W. L. Butler Construction, Inc. has established a powerful brand and notable reputation by collaborating with developers, owners and end users to complete a number of ground-ups and tenant improvements for automotive dealerships, retail centers, medical offices, industrial warehouses, hospitality, corporate campuses and educational facilities.
“Getting new business is all about relationships,” says Jennifer McCarthy, Business Development Manager. “While the company already has a strong presence in Southern California, it’s my goal to strengthen our existing partnerships, diversify our client base and broaden our visibility as a full-service general contractor within the San Diego region specifically.”
Jennifer McCarthy will manage the daily operations of the new location, leveraging more than 11 years of industry experience. With both a competitive drive and passionate spirit, she has been successful in acquiring high profile projects, increasing market share, improving efficiencies and achieving financial goals by establishing customer loyalty programs and comprehensive marketing plans. However, her proudest professional accomplishment was becoming the first female partner in a Real Estate development firm.
“We are pleased to announce that Jennifer has joined our team,” said Frank York, President. “Jennifer is a dynamic leader and marketing executive with contacts throughout the real estate community including; brokers, architects, property owners, municipalities, contractors and developers. Her wealth of knowledge, relevant experience and assertiveness will enable us to expand our business opportunities in this fairly untapped region for us.”
Educated at Palomar College in San Marcos with an emphasis in Sales and Marketing, Jennifer is also a committee chair for a number of trade associations; including the Alliance for Construction Excellence, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute. On a personal level, she is an outgoing mother of four with a keen eye for home décor and remodeling.
