District of Columbia Residents Soon to Go Solar

Standard Solar, Inc., the East Coast’s premier full-service developer, integrator and installer of solar electric systems, today announced that it is helping District of Columbia homeowners go solar with the assistance of DC solar rebates.

Standard Solar is the leading residential installer in the Mid-Atlantic, with more solar installations in every ward of the District, including a 15.62 kW system, Washington, DC’s largest residential system.

Under the Renewable Energy Incentive Program (REIP), a tiered rebate program for solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy systems, homeowners who install solar energy systems are eligible to receive a rebate of up to $33,000. Just this month, the District allocated an additional $1.4M of funding. Standard Solar proactively works with its customers to help file the necessary paperwork, enabling homeowners to recoup some of their capital investment.
