Nevamar Offers New Series of Eco-Friendly High Pressure Laminates

Flair and style are front and center in the new VIP line of High Pressure Laminates (HPL) from Nevamar Decorative Surfaces.

VIP—short for "Value In Performance"—features 15 new designs drawing inspiration from the texture of linen, the industrial coolness of concrete and metal, the downtown pop of bold color and the richness of natural wood. Fresh, sophisticated and durable, the unique styling of the new VIP line lends itself to a variety of applications. And like all Nevamar products, the VIP line is environmentally friendly—GREENGUARD and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified.

The VIP line includes:

• Linens—This family has a subtle, woven look that is understated, elegant and easy to use. It's ideal for healthcare and commercial use. Colors: "Cool Chic" (soft beige/white); "Serene Stardom" (soft green); "Easy Elegance" (black infused with green and gold); "Calm Distinction" (faded denim blue-gray).
• Teak Family—Two new linear-grained teaks, "Legendary Teak" (brown-gray) and "Luminary Teak" (light-infused gray), join the Teak Family, which includes the popular Valencia Teak introduced in 2008. Available in a choice of finishes, they recall the whitewash look of yesteryear.
• Maple Family—This is available in "Illustrious Maple" (warm cappuccino tones) and "Iconic Maple" (gray-blue tones). Thanks to the evolution of print technology, these designs are remarkably true to the look of natural wood grain.
• Plum Grain Plank Series—This series brings the look and feel of "wood plank" laminate flooring to vertical and horizontal surfaces. Ideal for both commercial and residential kitchens, the series includes "Modern Edge" (purple/heather undertone) and "Cutting Edge" (warm undertone).
• Muse Series—Calling to mind industrial surfaces such as stained concrete, finished metal or reclaimed barn wood, this series adapts to any setting and any use—as a total look, a focal point or an accent. It comes in "Adaptable Muse" (slight heather undertone) and "Malleable Muse" (olive-yellow).
• VOUS Series—The VOUS (Visual Optical Universal Solid) series features fabricator-friendly non-directional abstract patterns in colors that pop: "VOUS Mod" (saturated blue), "VOUS Vogue" (spicy yellow) "VOUS Flair" (salmon-gray).
