This summer, why not finish all those projects you've been planning all year.
A portable table saw will help you complete a wide range of indoor and outdoor carpentry projects - you can cut plywood for shelving or cut wood to size to build furniture, bird houses, decks, gazebos, or any other project you have in mind. Perfect for ripping or crosscutting materials to size, Metabo's TS 250 Portable Table Saw has the largest table on the market: 25-1/2" x 30".
The T-slot miter gauge allows you to crosscut wider pieces (up to 22") in front of the blades. The parallel fence, which you can use on either side, is clamped both at the front and back of the table for truer cuts and greater stability. A table extension is integrated into the unit, for rip cuts of up to 24-1/4".
With a heavy-duty 15-amp motor and no-load speed of 3,950 rpm Metabo's TS 250 table saw is built for performance, but it's also designed for your safety and comfort. A lock-out feature is incorporated into the switch and a push stick is included for safety when working with small pieces. The motor is mounted on two posts with four mounting points to minimize vibration.
The TS 250 is also easy to use. Its Soft-Start technology guarantees a smooth start and silent operation. You can easily make a -1.5 degree undercut with the turn of a knob or bevel the saw blade from -1.5 degrees to 46.5 degrees with a convenient handle at the front of the saw - without any additional tools. The portable saw, which weighs just 70 pounds, has built-in storage for blades, wrenches and its power cord, as well as storage for the fence and miter gauge during transit.
With the included 10" x 34-tooth carbide blade, the maximum cutting depth at 90 degrees is 3-1/8", and 2-1/2" at 45 degrees. The Metabo TS 250 offers both 2-1/4" and 2-1/2" dust collection port sizes.
