Price Pfister®, a century-long leader in the residential kitchen and bath fixture industry, today introduced the ultra-modern, single-control, Contempra® Bath Faucet.
One of the first joystick designs available at retail, this distinctly modern faucet builds on the already popular Contempra Collection.
“In the past, we’ve created contemporary designs for the mainstream consumer,” said Kevin Bean, group marketing manager, Price Pfister. “This time we really wanted to design a faucet that was undeniably modern, and made a statement for homeowners seeking a distinct look and experience.”
Eco-Pfriendly™ Style
A fresh, cutting-edge design such as this could not be called modern without also being EPA WaterSenseSM Certified. A WaterSense certification means that this faucet meets high efficiency lavatory faucet standards of 1.5 gallons per minute. The new Contempra bath faucet also is certified to meet the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) 61/9 Annex G lead requirements, which means it meets existing lead-free standards. While these lead-free standards have only been mandated in California and Vermont as of January 1, 2010, all of the Price Pfister new faucet designs introduced since that date are voluntarily meeting this standard.
Price Pfister was one of the first manufacturers to partner with the EPA on the WaterSense certification program and was the first to have a faucet officially certified in 2007 with the Ashfield bath faucet, which remains one of the most popular designs from Price Pfister. It is known that by adopting water-efficient products such as these, and water saving practices, homeowners can save as much as 30,000 gallons of water a year, and reduce water consumption by 30 percent without sacrificing the water experience. Price Pfister Eco-Pfriendly™ Aerators also allow homeowners to convert their older faucets into environmentally friendly fixtures for immediate water and cost savings.
