GREENGUARD Certification Awarded to Harter Seating

The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) awarded seventeen Harter seating lines with the GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified(R) Mark.

Harter's corporate seating successfully completed the GREENGUARD Certification Process and can now be specified by designers and facility managers with the confidence that the products will not pollute office environments with harmful contaminates. All GREENGUARD Certified Products, like the low emitting Harter seating, can be found in the GREENGUARD Online Product Guide at http://www.greenguard.org.

"GREENGUARD Certification fits perfectly with our mission to design and manufacture products that protect our healthy work environments," commented Peter Greene, Vice-President of Marketing and Design. "It is important for our clients to know that our office chairs will have a positive impact on the interior space."

The GREENGUARD Certification Program helps design and specifying professionals create clean indoor air by providing an online guide to scientifically tested low emitting products and helpful tools and resources. GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified Products do not add high levels of health-irritating chemicals into the indoor air like many other materials and furnishings.

To verify a product's GREENGUARD Certification, the GEI provides online, printable certificates for each and every GREENGUARD Certified Product. Certificates can be used in documentation for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System and other sustainable building program submissions.
