Meridian Systems, the Plan-Build-Operate technology solutions leader for project-based organizations, announced today that Joeris General Contractors in San Antonio, Texas, has selected the Prolog® solution to standardize construction management processes for its day-to-day construction activities. Joeris is working directly with Project 3 Technologies, a Meridian Systems Value Added Reseller (VAR) in Texas.
Named by McGraw Hill’s Texas Construction Magazine as the 3rd largest contractor in San Antonio and 37th in Texas, Joeris compared several systems by thoroughly researching functionality and price and evaluating its team’s experience with Prolog and other industry products. They ultimately selected Prolog Manager and Prolog Converge because they have been specifically designed for construction organizations that need a centralized system to track critical project information.
In addition, Joeris chose Prolog because of its flexible executive and project-level reporting. These capabilities provide Joeris with real-time visibility into budgets, costs, forecasts and associated risks. The system also allows Joeris to implement companywide standards to improve quality control through project close out, as well as eliminate repetitive data entry across Joeris departments.
“Prolog gives us the flexibility to integrate with our mission critical enterprise applications such as accounting, scheduling and document management,” said Joeris Vice President of Operations, John Casstevens. “Prolog’s Web services platform will give our project teams access to real-time project data over the Web saving us significant time.”
“We see Prolog as a perfect fit for Joeris in the markets they serve,” said Trent Hogan, president, Project 3 Technologies “We are excited to assist them in implementing technology that will drive cross functional collaboration among their project teams, eliminating redundant systems and double entry of data.”
Prolog software delivers total project management control for construction projects by automating day-to-day tasks and processes, from project design to close-out.
