IWP Aurora composite frames are engineered using the same high-end construction technology as JELD-WEN IWP Aurora Custom Fiberglass doors, which are supported by years of proprietary research and development, promising custom-designed beauty with maintenance-free appeal.

Designed from a single pour casting, Aurora composite frames are impervious to moisture and will not absorb water, eliminating any chance of rot, decay, swelling or delamination. The frames are also twice as resistant to fracture along the grain and have 10 times the nail- and screw-holding power of wood, providing increased security, durability and assurance of a consistent fit over time.
The JELD-WEN IWP Aurora composite frame single- and double-door systems have passed the tests required for hurricane approval, including structural loadings, impact, and cycling for DP +50/-50 ratings. The passing of these tests qualifies the Aurora composite frame systems for construction in Florida, Texas, and other regions with impact-resistance and structural wind load codes.
Together, the composite frames and the already hurricane-approved JELD-WEN IWP Aurora Custom Fiberglass doors create a complete, hurricane-rated, non-wood entry system.
Aurora composite frames are offered as a standard option with JELD-WEN IWP Aurora doors and are available to match all Aurora door wood species (oak, mahogany, knotty alder and paint surface).
