The International construction product manufacturing group, Kingspan, is showcasing its single living solutions for public and private housing at OFFSITE2005 on 6-9 June at BRE Watford.
Using structural frames that can support building elements such as concrete floors balconies and plant rooms, the systems are suitable for low to mid-rise applications.
'They offer a real off-site space with two different options for internal space layout,' says Kingspan Off-site Marketing Manager, John Williams. 'The external walls showcase our off-site partners' products such as Trespa high pressure laminates, Baggeridge brick slip, and NorDan windows and doors.'
Kingspan's two-storey single living stand will be constructed off-site and delivered to BRE in modular form. The structural systems are being previewed at OFFSITE2005 and will be available later this year.
Also on show will be Kingspan's recently launched Architectural Façade System, comprising off-site, non-load-bearing, rapid-build systems designed for use on steel or concrete framed buildings.
'Kingspan Off-site has tested the architectural façade system at BRE for its fire, thermal, air leakage, acoustics, and weatherability qualities,' says John Williams. 'Users can specify the performance and be confident that the whole system performs.'
