Rancho Cielo Estates (RCE), Ltd., the Master Developer of Montagna at CIELO, announced today that construction is under way on a major infrastructure project in the exclusive enclave near Rancho Santa Fe, featuring spectacular custom homes and luxury estate home sites.
Work has started on more than $3 million of water and sewer pipelines, three sewer pump stations, gas, cable, electric and phone utilities, road paving and landscaped slopes within the Montagna community. Estimated cost of the project is $3 million, including labor and supplies from the San Diego area. Project completion is anticipated in Fall 2010. CIELO owners are not expected to experience any inconvenience from these construction activities.
"This infrastructure work is a significant investment in the Montagna at CIELO properties," said Mark Rowson, President of RCE. "This is a priority of Ownership, and a commitment to preserving and enhancing the value of this unique asset, while maintaining CIELO as the preferred luxury community in San Diego County, well positioned for the market upturn."
Hazard Construction Company, a highly respected general engineering contracting firm, was selected for the infrastructure work, based on a history of successful projects in the San Diego region over more than 80 years. The work is expected to generate 50 or more construction jobs with local subcontractors, including TC Construction (El Cajon, CA), Park West Landscaping (Escondido, CA), American Concrete (San Marcos, CA), Area West Fence (Lakeside, CA), Statewide Striping (San Diego, CA), G. Scott Asphalt (Chula Vista, CA), and Schilling Paradise (El Cajon, CA).
