Advantages of STRONGDEK

Two years after the decking installation, Orange Beach was hit by Hurricane Dennis, which blew away several panels from the deck. However, the resort recovered several panels in good condition and easily reinstalled them.

According to a statement given to Strongwell in 2007 by Jim Medlock, owner of Perdido Beach Resort, the deck has withstood very well even after five years of installation. Functions have been held on it on every Friday and Saturday night during the summer months.

Ken Nadolny, the Director of Engineering on the project, informed that though the deck gets a lot of traffic as it has been called as party deck, the resort has only did pressure wash of the STRONGDEK deck periodically as maintenance, in five years.
