Emptoris, Inc., the leading provider of strategic supply management and enterprise contract management solutions, announced today that Bouygues Construction, a world leader in building and civil works, selected the Emptoris Supply & Contract Management solution suite to provide an integrated platform to support their Procurement transformation project and global procurement operations, as well as provide global spend visibility across their seven operating units.
The newly formed Bouygues Construction Purchasing organization will implement the Emptoris Spend Analysis, Emptoris Sourcing and Emptoris Contract Management solutions as a centerpiece for a world-class procurement program which is aiming to reduce the company's global spend by 10% by 2012, while at the same time improving efficiency, quality control and collaboration across their procurement operations and supplier base.

The solution will allow Bouygues Construction to better identify savings opportunities across the organisation, monitor the effectiveness of savings initiatives, and automate spend classification to provide granular spend visibility.
Emptoris Sourcing will enable Bouygues Construction to realise the best value, not just the best price, from its supply base by factoring cost, risk, and performance drivers into decision-making. Emptoris Sourcing will permit to manage events from reverse auctions to complex multi-stage negotiations. Emptoris Contract Management will enable Bouygues Construction to structure stronger contracts, streamline the contracting process, and improve compliance. The solution automates the contract lifecycle process from creation and execution, through performance monitoring, analysis, and re-negotiation.
