NCC to Build New Medical Research and Educational Facility in Tampere

NCC has been commissioned to construct a medical research and educational building for the University of Tampere on behalf of University Properties of Finland. The project is worth SEK 430 million.

“We are delighted to continue our excellent customer relations with University Properties of Finland. NCC has been working in the area for some time. The new building will be connected to an office building that NCC completed in 2009”, says Harri Savolainen, Business Area Manager at NCC Construction Finland.

The 25,400-square-meter building will include research and teaching laboratories and administrational premises.

NCC will start construction works immediately and the building is scheduled for completion in May 2016.

The project will be registered among NCC Construction Finland's orders during the second quarter of 2014.

This is the type of information that NCC could be obligated to disclose pursuant to the Securities Market Act. The information was issued for publication on June 3 2014 at 15 p.m.
