The new hotel will be built in Lindholmen and it will function as a Radisson Blu Hotel. This hotel will consist of 266 rooms. The land area, which will be covered by the hotel, is around 12,000 m2. This new hotel building will contain a green profile. The design of the hotel will be in such a way as to achieve the LEED Gold Level, which is the international certification system.
This new building will be located immediately beside the water at Norra Älvstranden. Skanska will begin the hotel construction in spring and will be finished at the start of 2013.
The green hotel project is an illustration for Bundled Construction, by which construction divisions use the fiscal strength of the Group to develop new business prospects. When the companies sign a long-term leasing agreement, a Bundled Construction project begins. Previously, this concept was followed in the construction and development of buildings in different public authority locations.
